Welcome to RemindMeBot ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using remindmebot.net (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

RemindMeBot is an email-based reminder service that allows users to schedule and receive reminder emails. We offer both free and paid subscription plans with varying features as described on our pricing page.

2. User Accounts

• You may use the Service with or without creating an account. Certain features require registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Create excessive or abusive numbers of reminders that strain our systems.
• Impersonate others or provide false information.
• Use automated tools to access the Service without our permission.

4. Paid Plans & Billing

• Paid plans are billed via Paddle, our third-party payment processor.
• Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected.
• All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect active billing cycles.

5. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance or in response to violations of these Terms. We are not liable for damages resulting from Service unavailability.

6. Intellectual Property

The RemindMeBot name, logo, website design, and code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission. Content you create (reminder text, preferences) remains yours.

7. Limitation of Liability

RemindMeBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed reminders, data loss, or any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms with or without notice. Upon termination, your reminder data will be deleted within 90 days.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
